With ten years in the film and television business in Canada, Mr. Berman now works as a writer and director. His stints at Astral Media and Telefilm Canada revealed some of the mysteries and marvels of private broadcasting and public financing. His passion for feature films and screenwriting keep him engaged as a reader and story editor, and busy writing and developing several feature film scripts.
He recently directed a BravoFact short film Ride Of The Yoga Valkyries. The Canadian Film Centre’s interactive media program led him to writing and producing narrative material online, including "xPod," the online extension of the CBC’s 2008 series "jPod."
He is the Principal at Metal Dog Films Inc. in Toronto.
