Contributor Biography

Karen Mazurkewich is co-directing a report on intellectual property and innovation for the Canadian International Council (CIC). Prior to joining the CIC in December, she worked for the Financial Post covering venture capital and financial services. Between 2000 and 2005, Ms. Mazurkewich was a feature writer with the Wall Street Journal based in Hong Kong covering topics ranging from technology to the arts, and has worked as a freelance director/producer for Discovery Channel and ABC Australia. She is the author of two books.
