Elizabeth Goodyear-Grant is an assistant professor in the Department of Political Studies at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. Her research focuses on elections and voting behaviour, women candidates and legislators, and media and politics. She teaches courses on elections, empirical methods, and women and politics. Outside professional pursuits, she enjoys political biography and travel fiction, and will continue to make her way through the five-volume Encyclopedia of Newfoundland and Labrador (her family’s home province).
