Barry Grant has a PhD from State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a professor of cultural studies at Brock University, where his teaching areas include film studies, documentary film, film history, and popular genres. He has published 25 books and more than 150 book chapters, and refereed articles and entries in Canadian, American, and British encyclopaedias and reference works.
