Contributor Biography

Janet Gasparini has been an involved and dedicated community developer for many years. Her early career was spent as a nurse at the former Sudbury General Hospital. She has been the Executive Director of the Social Planning Council of Sudbury since 1998 and is the Chair of the Social Planning Network of Ontario. Janet has been both an elected school board trustee and is now an elected City Councilor. Janet is a member and former Chair of the Board of Health, Chair of the Mayor & Council's Round table on Children and Youth, a member of the Board of the Greater Sudbury Economic Development Corporation and a member of the Healthy Community Cabinet.
