A 19-year-old from Saudi Arabia has claimed responsibility for publishing thousands of personal credit-card details belonging to Israelis.

Earlier this week, a hacker describing himself as a 19-year-old from Saudi Arabia published the personal credit-card details of 20,000 Israelis in two rounds under the Web name xOmar 0. The lists included addresses, phone numbers, names, and ID cards of thousands of Israelis and included details about who had made donations to rabbis and who purchased products from a website called Judaism. Now, a third list has been published by a hacker identifying himself as hacker “X” who claims to come from the same group as xOmar 0. Israel has said it will treat the attack as an act of terrorism, and threatened to strike back with force.
