Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Benzes, oh my...
At least 10 vehicles – including eight Ferraris and a Lamborghini – were involved in a massive and exorbitantly expensive car crash on one of Japan's main highways. The crash is being billed as the most expensive pile-up in Japan's history, as it reportedly totalled $4 million worth of supercars. On Sunday morning, a fleet of about 20 supercars, including the aforementioned Ferraris, but also some Mercedes Benzes for good measure, were driving down the Chugoku Expressway before the lead Ferrari hit a stretch of wet road and spun into a guardrail. The resulting crash took out the bulk of the fleet, as well as a Toyota Prius. No one was seriously injured, although 10 people were slightly wounded. No word on how the egos of the drivers fared, though.
