Poll of the Day: With Libya over, ya gotta bomb something, right?

A new poll finds that there is considerable support for U.S. military intervention in Iran should sanctions fail to prevent Tehran from building a nuclear weapon. Fifty per cent of respondents to a Quinnipiac poll said they were A-OK with dropping a bomb or two on Iran's nuclear facilities if sanctions can't do the trick, although 55 per cent of respondents said the country should refrain immediate military action. Sixty per cent of respondents said they felt economic sanctions on Iran weren't working. The poll also found that President Barack Obama's foreign policy received 49 per cent approval, despite his presidency overall getting the disapproval of 50 per cent of voters and the approval of 44 per cent. Let's just hope that Obama doesn't take this to mean that the best way to bump up his approval ratings is to loose a couple bunker busters on Iranian scientists.
