Ethical Oil's Velshi Returns to Parliament Hill

Tory whiz kid has had enough of the private sector, decides the PMO isn't full enough of spin yet.

Guess who's had enough of the oil-spinning game and is now headed back to the corridors of power in Ottawa? The answer, dear reader, would be Alykhan Velshi, the former communications guru for Immigration Minister Jason Kenney who launched EthicalOil.org just a few short months ago! We're guessing he has left that position because he has successfully convinced the United States that Canada is the only reliable source of conflict -free oil, not like those bastards in Saudi Arabia. (Oh, wait...) According to CBC's Laura Payton, Velshi, at the ripe old age of 27, has been named the director of planning for the Prime Minister's Office, and is set to start his new duties in December. Let's just hope that Velshi brings to the PMO the same level of intellectual rigour and honesty that's made the Ethical Oil campaign such a smashing success.
