Man finds his pregnant wife’s diamond ring after digging through a garbage mountain.

Late last week, Miami’s Brian McGuinn accidentally threw out his wife’s custom-made 1.5 carat diamond engagement ring. When he finally realized what had happened, the ring was already at a dump in Pompano Beach. Wearing a mask, thick gloves, a protective suit, and a hard hat given to him by crew at the dump, McGuinn searched through a 9-ton mountain of rotting garbage. He eventually found his own garbage bag by identifying his wife’s used frozen yogurt container (a sign of true love) and located the ring nearby. After a thorough cleaning, his expectant wife received a gift she’d never expected to see again.
