The best way to get France, Germany, and the UK on your side might actually involve coffee.
The G20 summit talks in France have gotten heated. So warm, in fact, that apparently Italy's Silvio Berlusconi fell asleep mid-meeting . Repeatedly. When he was woken by officials, he was asked to let the IMF check Italy's books to prevent Greece: Part II. As thousands of Italians gathered in Rome this weekend to protest Berlusconi’s government, the controversial figure rejected calls to step down and said he would continue to attempt to pass spending cuts to help protect Italy’s fragile economy. In fairness to the Italian leader, it's easy to fall asleep talking about your country's £1.6 trillion national debt.
