Canada to be Invaded by Unseemly Mustaches

Hey, Alex Trebek has been doing it for years.

That’s right, this week marks the start of Movember, the charity mustache campaign that aesthetically devastates the Canadian facial landscape. Interested men can register their clean shaven-faces on Tuesday at Movember.com, then promptly abandon them to mustachion for a month to raise funds for research into men’s health issues. Last year about $22 million was raised for Canadian prostate cancer research alone. The goal is also to generate awareness and educate the public about men’s cancers and the need for regular screening. An estimated 90% of prostate-cancer cases can be cured if detected and treated in their earliest stages.
