Beavis and Butthead Return to MTV Tonight

Whitesnake might have been replaced by The Real Housewives of Orange County, but at least the stars are the same as they ever were.

The inner Generation Xer in all of us can breathe a sigh of relief that's been building for 14 years, as Mike Judge's beloved Beavis and Butthead returns to the airwaves tonight. At 10 p.m. ET on MTV tonight, the perpetual teenagers begin their second shot at life, but instead of spending their afternoons slagging on the crappiest of music videos, the pair are now setting their sights on reality television. Which is kinda fitting, considering that MTV has forsaken its duty of broadcasting music videos in favour of endlessly airing reality tripe such as Jersey Shore, The Hills, and other such programs that take up way too much of the planet's brain power (even if Lady GaGa, the Biebs, and anybody associated with Cash Money Records could use the lampooning). And while we don't have MTV almost explicitly for those reasons, we'll be sure to find Beavis and Butthead somewhere online. Huh-huh-huh.
