Flood!

Bangkok may soon be hit by a disastrous flood that has spread across the country.

Thailand’s floods are soon expected to hit Bangkok as thousands of people prepare to evacuate the capital. The city’s 12 million residents are preparing for major damage in the next few days and, across the country, 760,000 homes have already been hit. Major roads have been closed, ancient Buddhist Temples have been flooded, and 250 people have been killed. Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, who earlier swore the floods would not hit Bangkok, has cancelled her trips abroad to deal with the crisis. Heavy rain has also forced evacuations this fall in Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos.
