Berlusconi Suggests 'Go Pussy!' As New Party Name

Once again, this man runs a G8 country.

Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi today joked that because his party is doing so terribly in the polls, the People of Freedom should change their name to "Go Pussy!". Berlusconi, who's stuck in three ongoing trials on charges of fraud, bribery, and paying a 17-year-old night club dancer to have sex, was addressing his party in Italy's parliament when he suggested the new branding. After asking for suggestions, the 75-year-old offered "Go Pussy!". Lawmakers from the other parties were not enthused. "Go Pussy!" is apparently a riff on the "Go Italy!" chant ("Forza Italia") that Italian soccer fans use in international play, and the former name of the People of Freedom. It also aptly sums up the chief achievements of Berlusconi's political career to date.
