$400 for New Jets Jerseys as Old Logo Shelved

At this point, True North could probably slap a Jets logo on rotting pieces of meat and still charge $50 apiece.

The National Hockey League season begins tomorrow night, and those wishing to welcome the return of the Winnipeg Jets by scooping up a new jersey will have to fork over an astounding $400 apiece once they go on sale this weekend. That news comes as reports say the Jets ownership group has secured the rights to the old (and timeless, and one true) Jets logo, which will no longer grace any more merchandise for the time being. True North Sports and Entertainment says they want to focus on building up the new brand, which we're pretty 'meh' on, considering that the old logo is one of the greatest to ever grace a hockey jersey. Regardless, we're sure these new $400 sweaters will sell faster than you can name more than five players on the Jets' roster.
