Minority Report

Latest polls suggest Ontario will likely elect its first minority government in 26 years as Hudak's popularity declines.
The latest Angus Reid poll for the Toronto Star now has the Liberals and Conservatives neck-in-neck in Ontario’s October 6th election. 34 per cent of those surveyed said they’d vote Conservative, 33 per cent said Liberal, 26 per cent said NDP, and 6 per cent said they’d vote Green. When the same poll was conducted two weeks ago, the Conservatives held 36 per cent of support and the Liberals held 32. Guess saying “Thunder Bay” over and over again does not win you a debate. If, as the poll predicts, a minority government is elected, it will be the province's first since 1985 when a Conservative minority government was elected and subsequently toppled by a joint effort between the Liberals and NDP.
