The man who can solve any diplomatic crisis (with judo) will run for the presidency in 2012.

Remember that man who shot a tiger with a tranquilizer gun and then kissed him goodbye? The one who is rumoured to wrestle bears with his bare hands, just to get some exercise? Turns out, he’s running for president again in 2012, taking back the leash from his temporary replacement Dmitri A. Medvedev. At a United Russia convention, Medvedev emotionally announced that Vladimir Putin would run for a third term in March after a four year “break” as prime minister. Of course, the announcement is no major surprise to the people of Russia, after Putin was spotted doing suspiciously campaign-like activities earlier in the year like riding into photo-ops on a Harley.
