Khamis Gadhafi, leader of the "Khamis Brigade," is believed to have died after a NATO airstrike.

Rebels have reported that Moammar Gadhafi’s son, Khamis, has been killed in an airstrike by a NATO Apache helicopter. Earlier today, a prosecutor for the International Criminal Court announced it would likely issue a warrant for Khamis' arrest after Human Rights Watch said that Khamis' forces were carrying out summary executions. Khamis’ purported bodyguard confirmed that he died in an armoured Toyota Land Cruiser just south of Tripoli in an explosion so big it destroyed the vehicle and set fire to nearby trees. Algeria's Foreign Affairs Ministry confirmed earlier today that other members of Moammar Gadhafi’s family, including his wife Safiya and three of his children, have entered Algeria.
