The former Pakistani president had his property confiscated and assets frozen by an anti-terrorism court.

Former president of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf is about to get a million dollar spanking. An anti-terrorism court in Rawalpindi, Pakistan has ruled to freeze his financial assets and confiscate his property in connection with the assassination of former political rival Benazir Bhutto. The judge announced his property would be seized for failure to appear in court. Prosecutors claim Musharraf failed to provide Bhutto with security despite knowing that the Taliban intended to murder her (conveniently before an election in 2007). Musharraf, who claims the allegations are politically motivated fabrications, has been living in exile since 2008. The former leader announced he would return to Pakistan next March for questioning.
