Over 100 weirdos from across the world will perform.
This weekend, Torontonians are crowding downtown to witness acts they’ve spent the rest of the year avoiding. The 12th annual Scotiabank Buskerfest, which features street performers from across the world, is drawing large crowds just outside St. Lawrence Market. Comedians, magicians, circus performers, unicyclists and puppets are coming out of their tiny boxes to showcase their talent (or lack thereof). The weekend-long festival also boasts three benefit events for Epilepsy Toronto including a fire show. When else can you meet the self-proclaimed “funniest Jewish cowboy from Oregon” or bring “your kids” to see the 2011 LEGO Ninjago tour?
