Gilles Duceppe Joins Radio-Canada

Does this mean we have to start a witch hunt looking for Bloc supporters in the CBC?

Former Bloc Québécois leader Gilles Duceppe has signed on as a commentator with CBC (well, Radio-Canada) in a move that will probably lead to Brian Lilley spontaneously combusting (it helps when you wear as much hairspray as he does). Duceppe, whose party got the living snot kicked out of it in the May 2 election, will lend his insight to the program Premiere Chaine, joining a long line of sovereigntist politicians who have made a buck or two from the public broadcaster, such as René Lévesque and Raymond Archambault. Duceppe, a man supposedly committed to Quebec's seccession from Canada, rationalized his career move by saying Quebecers pay taxes that fund CBC/Radio-Canada, so he doesn't have a problem working for an institution that was first set up explicitly to provide some sense of national unity.
