Anonymous Threatens to 'Kill' Facebook

Anonymous, that group of cyber provacateurs, says it will “kill” Facebook on Nov. 5, or Guy Fawkes Day in the U.K., due to the social network's egregious privacy breaches. In a creepy video clip, Anonymous claims Facebook will get their comeuppance for allegedly selling user data to governments , adding that “Operation Facebook” will live on in history books. Guy Fawkes Day, then, is as good a day as any to blow up the most popular social media site in the world, as it commemorates the day when Fawkes tried to blow up the British House of Lords way back in 1605. Anonymous members often wear Guy Fawkes masks, popularized in the graphic novel and film 'V' for Vendetta, when protesting in public.
