Doughnut Cheeseburger Coming to Toronto

Two glazed doughnuts. One ground beef patty. Five hours of indigestion.

Brace yourselves, Toronto cardiology departments: the infamous doughnut cheeseburger by EPIC Burgers and Waffles is coming to Toronto. The 1,550 calorie snack, which made its Canadian debut at this year’s Calgary stampede, will be offered at the CNE starting August 19th. The $10 deluxe burger features a ground beef patty sandwiched between two glazed Krispy Kreme doughnuts with American cheddar cheese, tomato, lettuce, fried egg, and bacon, and has about three times as many calories as a Big Mac. Brought to you by the Ex, which has already served up such classics as Deep-fried Coke, Deep-fried butter, waffle dogs, and chicken-fried bacon.
