(Son of) Gadhafi Killed

Rebel officials say a NATO airstrike took out Khamis Gadhafi today in the flashpoint town of Ziltan.

Hey everybody! They killed Gadhafi! Well, his son Khamis, at least. Libyan rebels claim that the youngest son of the Libyan strongman was killed in a NATO airstrike in the town of Ziltan sometime today. Khamis Gadhafi, 27, is (was?) a top military commander in Gadhafi's army, and was reportedly killed alongside 30 or so other troops in the town that has gone from rebel hands to Gadhafi's, and back again. While NATO has yet to confirm the death, if Khamis was taken out, it probably represents the biggest single advance for the international campaign in months, which is saying something, because our (fairly uneducated) guess is that this will probably just harden Gadhafi's resolve even more, with the war coming close to its sixth month.
