Parks Canada Launches Historic Food App

It’s Canadian history made interesting! Parks Canada has released a new, free smartphone app taking users on a journey through Canada’s gourmet past. Featuring over 60 recipes taken from historical national sites across the country, the app includes re-vamped Canadian recipes with a photo and story behind every dish. In a refreshingly on-the-nose statement, the CEO of Parks Canada said "For Parks Canada, this is very creative.” The Parks Canada Heritage Gourmet food app is available for iPhones and is compatible with Androids and Blackberrys through their associated stores.
