"Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musee National Picasso, Paris" will come to Toronto on April 28 of next year.

A major touring exhibit of Pablo Picasso's art will stop by Toronto's Art Gallery of Ontario for 17 weeks next year for its only Canadian stop. The showcase of paintings held by Paris' Musee National Picasso is set to open April 28 of next year, and will display such masterpieces as “Celestina (The Woman with One-Eye)” as well as “The Matador”, completed when Picasso was 89 years old and still very much in possession of his talents. All told, more than 5,000 paintings, etchings, drawings, and sculptures are touring in the exhibit as the Paris museum undergoes renovations.
