Pakistan Sold Nuke Technology to N. Korea

For the negligible (even by North Korean standards) sum of $3.5 million, the Kim dynasty became a nuclear power.
Have you ever wondered how resource-plagued North Korea ever managed to develop a nuclear arsenal? It looks like two Pakistani military officials sold nuclear technology to the rogue state back in the 1990s for about $3.5 million, which seems just a tad low for giving the world's least predictable state access to the planet's most devastating weapons technology. The allegations come from Abdul Qadeer Khan, who founded Pakistan's nuclear program in 1990. Khan, who's been accused by Pakistani officials of selling nuclear technology to other states of ill repute, such as Libya and Iran, handed over a letter to U.S. experts that he claims can verify that the military had sanctioned the sales.
