Activists urge the Canadian government to press Greece to release two women.

Two of the Canadians aboard the Tahrir, a ship carrying aid packages for Palestinians living in Gaza, have been detained by Greek authorities after the vessel was raided yesterday. The two activists, Soho Kneen and Sandra Ruch, could face charges for their role in attempting to leave a port on the island of Crete against the orders of the Greek coast guard. Thirty Canadians were aboard the Tahrir when it tried to evade coast guard vessels yesterday before officials boarded the ship, one of 10 in a flotilla that's seeking to break the Israeli blockade of Gaza.
