Their "Change that Puts People First" platform includes salary caps for public-sector executives and cuts for hospital wait times.

The Ontario NDP released their party's campaign platform Saturday, four weeks after the Conservative Party laid out their platform for the province's October 6 election. Entitled "Change that puts people first", the platform promises cuts to HST on home heating bills, to scrap new nuclear power, and to a form a new mega hydro agency. Though no personal income tax cuts are mentioned in the document, the party plans to cap the salaries of Ontario's highest-paid workers, such as senior executives in the electricity, health and other sectors. Notably missing from the platform was a comprehensive fiscal plan, though the party insists they will balance the budget by 2017-18.
