Canada Post Back-to-Work Bill Passes

With the bill's passing, snail mail could resume in days.

The Conservative bill ordering Canada Post employees to get back to work was finally pushed through Saturday night, following a record-setting filibuster from the NDPs that stalled the vote for nearly three days. Prime Minister Stephen Harper, upon announcing the legislation to the media, called the marathon debates leading up to the vote a "completely unnecessary delay". NDP leader Jack Layton had no comment following the vote. The legislation will now go to Senate.
