The Winnipeg NHL franchise will unveil its new name tonight during the first round of the league's entry draft, ending weeks of speculation over whether it will be the Jets. Winnipeg is slated to pick seventh overall after the draft gets underway in St. Paul, Minnesota, at 7 p.m. ET this evening, where their selection will have to don a jersey with the NHL's colours instead of the team's. That alone will make the usually quite-boring-except-for-hockey-nerds event somewhat interesting, especially if the name selected isn't the Jets, which could prompt Canada's second hockey-related riot this month (you heard it here first).
