Russian Plane Victims Worked on Iranian Nuke Facility

Authorities have blamed Monday's plane crash on pilot error and technical malfunctions.

Among the 44 victims of a Russian plane crash earlier this week were five scientists who helped design an Iranian nuclear facility. As the report in Haaretz notes, this isn't the first time that scientists linked to the Bushehr nuclear refinement facility have met their demise in plane crashes, although there has yet to be any indication of foul play in the crash, which has been chalked up to pilot error upon approach to the airport in the city of Petrozavodsk. We're never ones to pass around rumours masquerading as evidence, so we'll refrain from drawing any conclusions from the crash beyond the notion that, if we were scientists employed by Iran to help construct a nuclear facility of questionable intent, we might consider travelling by train.
