U.S. in Peace Talks with the Taliban

This news goes against the Taliban's official stance involving peace talks. They previously stated that they would not participate in peace talks until international forces leave Afghanistan, and that they would only speak to the Afghan government. Karzai's comments came hours before suicide bombers killed nine people, including three police officers, in an attack on a police station in Kabul.
