Every terrorist's dream job goes to long-time bin Laden confidant Ayman al-Zawahiri.

Osama bin Laden's death left a vacancy for one of the top jobs in the terrorism world, and now his long-time No. 2, Ayman al-Zawahiri, has been appointed as the head of al-Qaeda. Zawahiri, an Egyptian eye surgeon and cleric who's set to turn 60 this weekend (what do you get for the terrorist mastermind who just got the best birthday gift around?), is said to be the thinking man's Islamist extremist but lacking his former boss's charisma. Zawahiri, who has a $25-million bounty on his head, issued a video praising the Arab uprisings, calling on the protesters to throw off the shackles of imperialism and western decadence, and blah blah blah we've all heard this song and dance before.
