Tories Ask for Money to Fend Off Media Attacks

Awww, did the widdle weft-weaning media go and hurt the big bad Towies' feewings?

The Conservatives are asking for donations to help them fend off attacks from the media and the “anti-Conservative opinion elite.” John Walsh, the Tory party president, wrote that the “left-leaning opinion establishment” is basically out to get them because they fear that a successful Tory government would delegitimize liberal opinions on the role of government in Canadians' lives. The letter was sent out just as the Tories are set to open their policy convention this weekend, where they'll probably drink champagne more expensive than most of their supporters could ever afford and dream up ways to limit freedoms that Canadians hold dear, thanks to the hard work and progressive values of consecutive Liberal governments.
