While there's no concrete link between the two yet, the UN body is calling for more research into the relationship.

The World Health Organization has determined after much study that radiation emitted by cellphones and transmission towers could cause cancer. WHO's International Agency for Research on Cancer concluded that the microwaves produced by the electronic devices are “possibly carcinogenic,” meaning there's enough evidence to prove that they're harmful to animals, but not enough to prove conclusively that they cause cancer in humans. The agency reviewed reams of data on the relationship between brain cancer and the heaviest users, and surmised that there is enough to encourage more follow-up research on the link between the two.
