This is hardly the kind of exposure that the Ontario PC party was looking for during its platform launch this weekend.

A Progressive Conservative candidate from Ontario says a picture of male genitalia posted to his Twitter account must have come from someone who stole his BlackBerry while he was at the party's convention this past weekend in Toronto. George Lepp, who's running for the PCs in the Niagara region in the October election, maintained that his phone was stolen sometime Saturday night before the photo was linked to on his account on the social-networking site early Sunday morning. The offending photograph was taken down shortly after it came to Lepp's attention. The little episode came about as Tory Leader Tim Hudak unveiled the party's election platform aimed at unseating Liberal Premier Dalton McGuinty after two terms in office.
