The documentary looks like it's priming the half-term Alaskan governor to throw her hat into the Republican nomination circus.
Sarah Palin is releasing a feature film next month that's aimed at setting up the former Alaskan governor for a run at the White House in 2012. The documentary unearths footage from Palin home videos and her early political career in Alaska, tracking her rise from Wasilia to the governorship in Juneau. While Palin has yet to announce whether she'll run for the Republican party's nomination, the pending release of The Undefeated (a bit of a misnomer, since she was, donchaknow, defeated as John McCain's running mate in 2008), directed by conservative filmmaker and former Goldman Sachs banker Stephen K. Bannon, is surely a sign of her intent. And with Donald Trump dropping out of the race, it's comforting to know that at least one reality TV star could still be in the running for the most important political position in the world.
