Gamers rejoice as Sony announces the online video network will relaunch with better security protection.

More than three weeks after discovering a massive security breach in the PlayStation network, Sony announced Sunday it will begin restoring the online video game network. The U.S., Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East will be the first areas to be restored, while the company hopes that the entire network, including Qriocity services, will be up and running by the end of May. Due to the security breach that led to the theft of personal data from millions of users, Sony said it has enforced "new and additional security measures" in hopes that such an occurrence should not happen again.
