The Catholic Bishop of Tripoli says there's reason to believe Moammar Gadhafi could be nursing injuries away from the capital.
Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi could have been wounded in recent NATO air strikes targeting his compounds in Tripoli, according to Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini. The foreign minister told reporters that the Catholic bishop of Tripoli had told him that Gadhafi had probably fled the city to safety amid continued NATO attacks on the capital. A Gadhafi spokesman denied the report altogether as “nonsense.” Gadhafi could be facing charges of war crimes from the International Criminal Court as soon as next week for his role in launching a civil war that's killed thousands of civilians since February.
