South Park Sets Sights on Canada, Royal Wedding

The guys who nearly won an Oscar for telling the world to 'Blame Canada' rip the country once again.

South Park will lampoon one of the show's favourite targets tonight – Canada – in an episode that pokes fun at the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The instalment of the biting animated satire is to feature a wedding between the Prince of Canada and his bride-to-be, an event watched by “literally thousands” on television. Before they can be wed, though, ne'er-do-wells kidnap the princess and it's up to Ike, the adopted Canadian toddler brother of main character Kyle, to rescue the make-believe royal. As per usual, our supposedly goofy accents, sparse population, and other such national traits are bound to be pilloried. The episode won't air (legally) in Canada until Friday night.
