Al Chretien's wife, Rita, was found in their broken-down van in a remote corner of Nevada seven weeks after they'd gone missing.

Police in Nevada will resume their search for Albert Chretien, after his wife, Rita, was found alive seven weeks after the Canadian couple went missing. The couple's van was spotted by a pair of hunters on Friday on a logging road near the town of Rowland, in Nevada's remote northeast corner. Rita had survived since March 22 on melted snow and what limited food reserves were left after her husband took off with a GPS device to find help. He hasn't been seen since, but Rita's survival – hospital officials say the B.C. woman was near death when discovered – gives new hope that Albert could be alive as well.
