Online voting could help boost turnout, but it could also jeopardize our democracy.
As our day-to-day communication shifts online, it is inevitable that voting will do the same. Municipal elections have experimented with online voting and, by 2013, Elections Canada is slated to carry out a pilot project at the federal level.
The Mark spoke with Liberal candidate Carolyn Bennett and Student Vote's Taylor Gunn about the pros and cons of abandoning traditional polling stations.
