The 43-year-old had not moved in over two years.

A bizarre story that raced across the internet Wednesday appears to have a sad ending. The local CBS affiliate in Bellaire, Ohio, is reporting that an unnamed, morbidly obese man who had sat in an armchair for so long that his skin became fused to it has died in hospital. When paramedics were called to the man's home Sunday after his girlfriend said he was unresponsive, they found a disgusting scene. The man was sitting in his own filth and was reportedly covered with maggots. Police were called to cut a hole in the wall of the house in order to remove the man.
