Banksy Captured On Camera?

A man believed to be the elusive artist has been photographed in Santa Monica.

Maybe he got tired of hiding? Because climbing on top of a disused trucking container beside a busy highway in broad daylight in the paparazzi capital of the world is not the best way to stay hidden. That is what a man who could very well be the Bristol, U.K.-based artist was photographed doing Tuesday, as he was apparently engaged in taking pictures of the words “This looks a bit like an elephant” painted on the side of the big grey container. Banksy has written that he often returns to his work to photograph it. Banksy’s film Exit Through the Gift Shop was nominated for an Oscar this weekend and while he didn’t show up for the ceremony in Los Angeles, his work has been popping up all over the city in recent days.
