Swiss Chalet Launches All-Chicken Channel

The Rotisserie Channel will feature nothing but a 24-hour loop of 12 birds on a spit.

It’s all chicken, all the time. Starting Monday, Rogers customers will get a new addition to their television universe, and while it's not exactly edge-of-your-seat programming, Swiss Chalet is hoping it will send viewers running to their restaurants to pick up a quarter chicken dinner. The Rotisserie Channel, which Rogers says is akin to its current aquarium, sunset, and fireplace channels, will be on the air for 13 weeks and is nothing more than endless footage of whole chickens roasting slowly in their own juices above an open flame. Hungry yet?
