Palin Broke State Election Laws, Tell-All Book Alleges

Excerpts from a book by one of Sarah Palin’s former aides do not paint a pretty picture of Mama Grizzly.

Unflippinbelievable. Frank Bailey, who worked on Palin’s gubernatorial campaign starting in 2005, is still looking for a publisher for his manuscript, but excerpts leaked to Gawker describe a petty and vindictive woman. According to Bailey, Palin sent out emails declaring, “I hate this job!” shortly before abruptly resigning as Alaska governor, and ranted about her failed vice-presidential bid, saying she’d paid a high price for “the flippin privilege of jumping on the pirate ship.” Bailey also alleges she broke Alaska election laws when she allowed herself to be filmed for a campaign ad in Anchorage by a camera crew working for the Republican Governors Association. With her popularity sliding, Palin’s chances of running for president in 2012 look increasingly slim.
