Toronto Woman Says Flanagan Threatened Her Over WikiLeaks

Stephen Harper’s former campaign manager told Janet Reymond, “[W]e know where you live.”

Tom Flanagan helped Stephen Harper to power in 2006 by running a tight, disciplined campaign. He might want to try to exercise some of that discipline in his own life these days, because he keeps saying silly things. Last week in an interview with the CBC he called for the assassination of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. He retracted those remarks but Calgary police are considering charging him with incitement. Now a woman who wrote him an angry email after seeing the interview says he sent her a scary one-sentence reply: “Better be careful, we know where you live.” Janet Reymond called the Toronto police, who told her it was “borderline” whether the email was a threat.
