Ronni Chasen was killed on her way home from the star-studded premier of Burlesque.

Hollywood stars gathered yesterday for Chasen’s funeral, packing a church in Culver City, CA with actors, composers, and producers she worked with over her thirty-year career. Chasen, 64, was a well known publicist who specialized in creating Oscar buzz for the movies she worked on. She was murdered while returning home after the premier of the Cher film Burlesque last Tuesday. Her killer fired bullets into her Mercedez-Benz as she turned off of Sunset Blvd., but police so far have few clues as to whether it was a random incident or a targeted hit.
